The destruction of human life at its earliest stage cannot be justified for any reason. Adult stem cell and cord blood research are ethical and successful alternatives that are already curing human disease and suffering. These stem cell therapies bring no harm or injury to the donors. It is important to know that the Church is not against "stem cell" research; it is clearly against "embryonic stem cell" research.
Do you know the difference between Embryonic Stem Cell research and Adult Stem Cell research ?

Also, "The Science of Stem Cells: Finding Cures and Protecting Life"is a short documentary that goes beyond the hype and confusion of the stem cell debate. You can watch it online atwww.rcan.org/life.
